MEET OUR TEAM

Kaitlyn Hanson, President

Kaitlyn was raised in a Southern California dairy community and, as her first job was milking cows, lactation has been a part of her life from a young age. Kaitlyn received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Oklahoma State University. Kaitlyn has spent her Human Resources career in multiple highly regulated industries. She hopes to bring her professional background and passion for the lactation community together to serve the Coalition. Kaitlyn has a four year old son and a one year old daughter, both of which she is nursing. Kaitlyn is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and enjoys sewing, going to farmer’s markets, and spending time outdoors with her husband, children and two dogs.

Samantha Sargent, Vice President

Samantha Sargent and her husband are a blended family of 7 with children ranging from 5 to 19. They support breastfeeding, natural solutions, and holistic living in general. Samantha is a doTERRA Wellness Advocate who works all over the world educating and supporting with these medicinal grade essential oils.  She also founded Connecting Communities, event coordination, in 2017 after working for others in the event arena for over 15 years. She has been gladly supporting the Coalition since 2017 in events and any other aspect that needs extra attention.

Diana Albor, RN, CLC, Secretary & Treasurer

Diana is the Pikes Peak Breastfeeding Coalitions Secretary and Treasurer. She is a registered nurse born and raised in Kansas City, MO with experience working in pediatric and OB settings, both inpatient and in the community. She currently works for the Nurse Family Partnership program at UCCS; has been with NFP for 3 years now. She is very passionate about working with underrepresented, underserved, Latina, and Spanish-speaking communities. Lactation experience includes currently breastfeeding her baby girl and through her Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) certification. For fun, she loves to hike, travel, dance, and spend bonding time with loved ones.

Laura Liddile, IBCLC, Webpage Manager

Laura Liddile is the Webpage Manager for the Pikes Peak Breastfeeding Coalition and has been volunteering for the coalition since 2018. Laura had her son while she was stationed in Germany, where she gained a passion for breastfeeding and supporting all moms. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Maternal Child Health and Human Lactation at Union Institute & University and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Randina Hoyt, IBCLC, Board Member

Randina Hoyt is a board member of the Pikes Peak Breastfeeding Coalition and has been volunteering for the coalition since 2016. She is a mother of 1 daughter who she breastfed for 2 and 1/2 years. In 2014 she obtained her CLC (Certified Lactation Counselor) through The Healthy Children Project and also became a trained Doula through DONA in Montana. Randina and her daughter moved to Colorado Springs in 2015 where she went on to study Maternal Child Health and Human Lactation through Union Institute & University. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in August of 2019 and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
