OUR STORY

We are a diverse group of local community members who are passionate about supporting mothers and babies. Our members consist of lactation consultants, doctors, nurses, maternal and infant health specialists, doulas, public health professionals, nursing mothers, and more! Anyone interested in promoting an environment of breastfeeding support in our local community is welcome!

OUR MISSION

The mission of the PPBFC is to promote optimal infant health, growth, and development; mother/infant bonding; and maternal health benefits by increasing breastfeeding rates, particularly among underserved populations, by encouraging and supporting a breastfeeding-friendly community in the Pikes Peak region.

OUR VISION

The vision of the PPBFC is to ensure that every woman of childbearing age in the Pikes Peak region receives the information, support, and referrals for a successful breastfeeding experience
